Wedged into a narrow corner site, this design was for three apartments, an office and four car-spaces. The design responded to the 19th Centrury mixed red brick railway station directly opposite.

A clever construction method was required to respond to the narrow and limited lane way access. A pre-cast concrete panel was designed with an embedded brick tile face finish.

A subtle ripple in the form provides articulation to the surface. The panels were conceived of as a bichromatic pattern, mirrored from panel to panel, visually creating a butterfly affect.

The project was sold by the Client and a bastardised version was constructed.
