Edgewater Towers was completed in 1961, designed by architect Mordechai Benshemesh.
The original building included a café at ground floor and rooftop access. Over time the café was converted into an apartment. With the introduction of various services, the rooftop became inaccessible.
These staged works included refurbishing the lobby, the introduction of an accessible entry and airlock and reintroducing rooftop access.
The brief and the design required sensitive reworking of the mid-century architecture.
